Jeremy Martin Dominates Utah National

The final round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Series ended in a similar fashion to that of the start, with the Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha boys stealing the show. The 2014 champion, Jeremy Martin, won both motos with teammate, Cooper Webb, taking the holeshot in the first moto. This has been the team’s most successful year by far, thanks to all of the sponsors, riders and crew, who have worked so hard to make it happen.

250 Moto 1: Cooper Webb took his first holeshot of the season, with Martin in tow. The 2014 champion, Jeremy Martin, caught up to his teammate and made a pass for the lead.   The Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha riders were right at the front, just as they had been in the very first race of the year. Jeremy took the win and Webb finished second.

250 Moto 2:
Martin was second off the start, however came in hot around the leader and immediately made a pass. With all the confidence, from recently winning championship, Martin began to pull a lead on the pack.  Webb got caught up in a battle right on the first lap.  He came through at a flying pace.  Webb made his way all the way up to fourth and Martin took the win with a seventeen second lead.

The final round of the championship wrapped up with Jeremy Martin taking the overall for the day and Cooper Webb finishing third. Cooper Webb’s performance this year resulted in him finishing third in the Championship.

After a season of moto wins, holeshot awards, a championship win and just pure domination, the Yamalube Star Racing team has had a pretty amazing year of racing. For all of its achievements this year, the team was awarded National Team of the year. This award in itself speaks volumes and shows how Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha has really excelled above all of the 250 and 450 teams competing in the championship.
