Team Suzuki Press Office – April 20.

Rockstar Energy Suzuki’s MXGP Factory rider Clement Desalle kept pace with the leaders of the premier MXGP class as the Belgian grabbed fourth overall at Sevlievo for the Grand Prix of Bulgaria today; the fifth round of 18 in the FIM Motocross World Championship.

The Belgian took his works RM-Z450 to fifth and third positions in the two motos watched by 20,000 spectators and classified just ahead of team-mate Kevin Strijbos in fifth.

It was a day of two halves: The rutted-and-rough Bulgarian mud that had been chiselled through the presence of five...

Team Suzuki Press Office – April 20.

The Grand Prix of Bulgaria drew the FIM Motocross World Championship up to the fifth round of 18 and the spectacular but rutted-out Sevlievo circuit was the stage on which Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe’s Glen Coldenhoff took seventh position overall on his works RM-Z250.

Some 20,000 spectators found some dry spots on the Sevlievo hillside as decent weather on Saturday - and in the first part of race-day - dried the facility that had been hit by rain during the week. The effect of the showers on the track helped to create a bumpy and rutty surface...

Round three at the Big Buck GNCC was fun.  After seeing mud at the first three rounds, I was pumped to have a dry race!  My start was not good…my bike decided to not start when the flag flew, so I was last going into the first turn.  I knew I would be good in the open field sections, so I went to work passing guys and trying to get to the front.  I made a lot of passes, some in the open and some in the trees, and got up to 3rd by the start of the second lap.  I pushed the pace then and tried to gap the guys behind me, and hopefully catch the front-runners.  I pushed a little too much...

Kevin Strijbos:

“I had two good races today despite the fact that it was far from easy; I struggled to find my rhythm and speed on this track. I made two good starts and put my head down in both motos. I’m happy I am on the podium. After the last GP we changed some stuff and I was riding a bit more; all that work has paid off.”

Glenn Coldenhoff:

“Good to be back on the podium again. Especially with that first moto result. I had a bad start and the track was very one-line then. I was a bit too slow in the first 10 minutes and by the time I picked-it-up, I missed some momentum to make the passes. I finished eighth. The team suggested some set-up changes and I didn’t really agree but they paid off; so I’m really happy those guys are behind me. I followed Guillod until I could see that he would slow down a little bit. I took the lead and held it to the finish line.”

Clement Desalle:

“I came here relaxed and had a good feeling on the track. The races were good and I had some decent starts. I was second throughout the first moto and it was hard to make the difference here. I came back on Gautier Paulin sometimes, but would make some small mistakes to lose some time; it went like that all the way through. It was easy to make a mistake on this track but I’m really happy with how it worked out today. The season did not start how I expected but I was feeling better in Thailand. I don't have pain in my shoulder and feel good on the Suzuki. I don't know if...

Kwasniewski Comes Home 23rd at Darlington

Darlington, S.C. (April 12, 2014) - Dylan Kwasniewski drove the Rockstar Energy Drink Chevrolet to a 23rd-place finish in the only NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race of the season at Darlington Raceway on Friday night. After fighting through adversity during the two practice sessions on Thursday afternoon, the No. 31 team rebounded nicely as Kwasniewski earned the 17th-starting position at the track "Too Tough To Tame" during NASCAR's knockout qualifying session. Once the green flag waved, Kwasniewski radioed to his crew that he was tight off exit...

Jason Anderson continued his consistent 2014 championship campaign with yet another solid podium ride. Unfortunately for the fans of NW Supercross, it also marked the last time the series will visit Washington. The team traveled to the NW with only Jason under the tent, dealing with a slew of injuries to all of it's 450 contenders this season. Cole Thompson being the most recent to go down with a knee injury one week ago.

With the level of competition in the West Coast 250 class, it's very unlikely that any rider could win every race and take the title easily. The key to taking the #1 plate...

Team Suzuki Press Office – April 13.

Rockstar Energy Suzuki’s Clement Desalle won today’s Italian MXGP at Trentino in Italy for round four of 18 in the FIM Motocross World Championship.

It was the Belgian’s first victory of the season in front of 25,000 European spectators hungry for their first taste of high-level motocross action in 2014.

Desalle was faultless on the toughest racing surface of the year so far and his results of second and first in the two motos on the RM-Z450 led to a convincing success; his first since the 2013 British Grand Prix.

Joining him on the MXGP box was...

Team Suzuki Press Office – April 13.

Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe encountered a big and buoyant crowd at Arco di Trento for the Grand Prix of Trentino and the first European round of the 2014 FIM Motocross World Championship as Glenn Coldenhoff again put his works RM-Z250 in the mix by taking third position overall and his third podium result in a row – after racing to victory in the second moto.

In cool but bright conditions, 25,000 fans packed into the small spectator zones around the slick but immensely-bumpy Italian hard-pack as MXGP thundered into life in the shadow of the epic...

Kwasniewski Finishes 14th at Texas

Fort Worth (April 5, 2014) - Dylan Kwasniewski drove the Rockstar Energy Chevrolet to a 14th-place finish in the first NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race of the season at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday night. Starting in the 10th position, Kwasniewski battled a loose racecar and found himself in the 15th position when the first caution of the night came out on lap 42. During the caution, crew chief Pat Tryson called Kwasniewski down pit road for four tires, fuel and an air-pressure adjustment. After the pit stop, Kwasniewski reported to his team that his...

The Rockstar squad made a triumphant return to the 250 West Coast Supercross Championship. After leaving Jason Anderson in San Diego with a 2nd place podium and a slim 4 point lead for the title and heading East, Mr. Anderson picked up right where he left off in dominant fashion. Unfortunately for the team on a sour note however, they had another 450 class rider go down with injury in Cole Thompson.

Jason Anderson hasn't raced for several weeks, no different than any of his competition. Of course they have all been riding 5 days a week or more but can still be rusty when it comes time to...

Sipes Words: Steele Creek GNCC  /  Apr.1.2014

I was really looking forward to a dry race finally, but round three was, once again, a mudder.  It wasn't as bad as the first two rounds but still tough.  I got a decent start, around 6th, but a bottleneck in the second corner sent me a back a few spots.  I made some passes in the first few miles and felt really good.  Around mile four we went into some trail that hadn't been ridden on, and it was super slick.  I wasn't ready for it!  I went down a few times and got shuffled back to around 16th.  The first few rounds I have been riding a little cautious, only because I want to learn and be...
