Kevin Strijbos:

“I had two good races today despite the fact that it was far from easy; I struggled to find my rhythm and speed on this track. I made two good starts and put my head down in both motos. I’m happy I am on the podium. After the last GP we changed some stuff and I was riding a bit more; all that work has paid off.”

Glenn Coldenhoff:

“Good to be back on the podium again. Especially with that first moto result. I had a bad start and the track was very one-line then. I was a bit too slow in the first 10 minutes and by the time I picked-it-up, I missed some momentum to make the passes. I finished eighth. The team suggested some set-up changes and I didn’t really agree but they paid off; so I’m really happy those guys are behind me. I followed Guillod until I could see that he would slow down a little bit. I took the lead and held it to the finish line.”

Clement Desalle:

“I came here relaxed and had a good feeling on the track. The races were good and I had some decent starts. I was second throughout the first moto and it was hard to make the difference here. I came back on Gautier Paulin sometimes, but would make some small mistakes to lose some time; it went like that all the way through. It was easy to make a mistake on this track but I’m really happy with how it worked out today. The season did not start how I expected but I was feeling better in Thailand. I don't have pain in my shoulder and feel good on the Suzuki. I don't know if...

Jason Anderson continued his consistent 2014 championship campaign with yet another solid podium ride. Unfortunately for the fans of NW Supercross, it also marked the last time the series will visit Washington. The team traveled to the NW with only Jason under the tent, dealing with a slew of injuries to all of it's 450 contenders this season. Cole Thompson being the most recent to go down with a knee injury one week ago.

With the level of competition in the West Coast 250 class, it's very unlikely that any rider could win every race and take the title easily. The key to taking the #1 plate...

Team Suzuki Press Office – April 13.

Rockstar Energy Suzuki’s Clement Desalle won today’s Italian MXGP at Trentino in Italy for round four of 18 in the FIM Motocross World Championship.

It was the Belgian’s first victory of the season in front of 25,000 European spectators hungry for their first taste of high-level motocross action in 2014.

Desalle was faultless on the toughest racing surface of the year so far and his results of second and first in the two motos on the RM-Z450 led to a convincing success; his first since the 2013 British Grand Prix.

Joining him on the MXGP box was...

Team Suzuki Press Office – April 13.

Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe encountered a big and buoyant crowd at Arco di Trento for the Grand Prix of Trentino and the first European round of the 2014 FIM Motocross World Championship as Glenn Coldenhoff again put his works RM-Z250 in the mix by taking third position overall and his third podium result in a row – after racing to victory in the second moto.

In cool but bright conditions, 25,000 fans packed into the small spectator zones around the slick but immensely-bumpy Italian hard-pack as MXGP thundered into life in the shadow of the epic...

The Rockstar squad made a triumphant return to the 250 West Coast Supercross Championship. After leaving Jason Anderson in San Diego with a 2nd place podium and a slim 4 point lead for the title and heading East, Mr. Anderson picked up right where he left off in dominant fashion. Unfortunately for the team on a sour note however, they had another 450 class rider go down with injury in Cole Thompson.

Jason Anderson hasn't raced for several weeks, no different than any of his competition. Of course they have all been riding 5 days a week or more but can still be rusty when it comes time to...

Sipes Words: Steele Creek GNCC  /  Apr.1.2014

I was really looking forward to a dry race finally, but round three was, once again, a mudder.  It wasn't as bad as the first two rounds but still tough.  I got a decent start, around 6th, but a bottleneck in the second corner sent me a back a few spots.  I made some passes in the first few miles and felt really good.  Around mile four we went into some trail that hadn't been ridden on, and it was super slick.  I wasn't ready for it!  I went down a few times and got shuffled back to around 16th.  The first few rounds I have been riding a little cautious, only because I want to learn and be...

Glenn Coldenhoff:

“Overall second place is not too bad, but I am also working for that red plate.
The first race didn't go how I wanted it to. I really messed it up! I pushed really hard in the beginning and couldn’t pass the others so I decided to slow down a little bit to have a go again. But then I couldn't find a good rhythm and it felt like everybody was passing me. Anyway I stayed on the bike and for a bad race, fifth position wasn’t too bad. I got a good start in the second and went straight into the lead. I almost led all of the laps. It was really warm and I had to throw...

Clement Desalle:

“I’m on the podium with no crashes or injuries, so these are the positive points. It has taken a lot to come back from my shoulder injury so I am happy with how some things are going. It was hot out there today and easy to make a mistake. It was not difficult to ride but you had to be measured with the 450 out of those corners. I’d like to say thanks to the team because they have worked really hard in the past weeks to try and improve.”

Thompson Top Ten in St. Louis  /  Mar.31.2014

Rockstar Energy Racing headed to St. Louis, MO with only one healthy rider under the tent in Cole Thompson. The team has been bitten hard by the injury bug this year and Ivan Tedesco was unable to race after his nasty crash last week in Toronto. This weekend marked the last East Coast round for the next 4 weeks until the series reconvenes in Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.

Cole Thompson was coming off his best career finish in Toronto with his first top 5 as a professional rider. He entered St. Louis on a high and was poised to repeat his performance from Canada. If it wasn't...

Team Suzuki Press Office – March 31.

Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe’s Glenn Coldenhoff followed up his rapid pole position at Beto Carrero for the Grand Prix of Brazil with his second podium trophy in three events.

The Dutchman finished as runner-up on the RM-Z250 for what was a suffocating and demanding third round of the FIM Motocross World Championship. Coldenhoff also logged a small career milestone by comfortably winning the second moto for his first chequered flag and first for Suzuki since 2010.

Cloudy skies and a stiff breeze coated the first Brazilian appointment for the MX2...

Team Suzuki Press Office – March 31.

The Grand Prix of Brazil and the third round of 18 in the FIM Motocross World Championship was a positive one for Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MXGP as Clement Desalle celebrated his second podium result of the season in front of 35,000 spectators at Beto Carrero.

The first of two outings in Brazil this season took place at the facility annexed from the popular theme park for the third year in a row. The small and narrow layout was again surrounded by a noisy and boisterous crowd. The gathering added that typical Brazilian flavour found at motorsports...

Team Suzuki Press Office – March 29.

Suzuki RM-Z450 and RM-Z250 machinery marked the fastest pace around the red jumpy and bumpy Beto Carrero circuit today as Kevin Strijbos and Glenn Coldenhoff sealed pole position in the MXGP and MX2 classes respectively for the Grand Prix of Brazil.

Hot and humid conditions greeted this third round of 18 in the FIM Motocross World Championship and after decent starts and an effective rhythm around the Santa Catarina layout, Suzuki celebrated its first Saturday double sweep since the 2010 Grand Prix of Latvia.

Strijbos was in fine form and after...
