Team Suzuki Press Office – June 1.

A hot Grand Prix of France on the hillside hard-pack terrain of St Jean d’Angely was the setting for Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe’s Jeremy Seewer to excel and score eighth position overall in the MX2 class for what was the ninth round of 17 in the FIM Motocross World Championship as Brian Hsu topped the EMX125 Championship podium.

A packed venue north of Saintes celebrated a re-visit to the popular circuit that has hosted the Motocross of Nations twice since the turn of the century; and that saw 32,000 spectators filling the slopes that permitted...

Kwasniewski Earns Top-15 Finish at Charlotte

CONCORD, N.C. (May 24, 2014) - Dylan Kwasniewski made his first-career NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Charlotte Motor Speedway during Saturday afternoon's History 300 and, despite going a lap down during the middle portion of the race, the Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender drove his Rockstar Energy Drink Chevrolet to a 13th-place finish. During the weekend's two NNS practices, Kwasniewski and his Turner Scott Motorsports team laid down the 15th- and fourth-fastest times, respectively. Kwasniewski then went out Saturday morning and...

Jeremy Martin: "We're here at Glen Helen, end of the day, and I was fortunate enough to walk away with a 1-1. Got two really good starts, and a good start to the season. I'm looking forward to my next two motos at Hangtown and seeing what I can do there."

Cooper Webb: "Weekend was good. I qualified really good and got two good moto finishes. My starts weren't great today, but I was able to come through the pack both motos and ride solid. I beat some good guys today and I'm pumped. Both Jeremy and I killed it today and I couldn't be happier. Good way to start the season!"

Clement Desalle: “Yesterday was a perfect day. I started second in the first moto but Frossard passed me and then in the first three or four laps I wasn’t riding so well. I had a big crash and hit my head on the ground, hurting my neck a little bit. I was really disappointed with that moto because I should have done much better and in the end I missed the overall win because of it. I had some physio before the second race and things went better. I concentrated on my riding and made some mistakes in the middle of the moto but when I saw ‘four laps’ on the pitboard I really focussed...

Strong showing for American in famed UK rallycross race

WOOTTON, UK (May 26, 2014) - Rockstar Energy Drink driver Tanner Foust put on a strong performance at the Lydden Hill Circuit this weekend to finish his first World Rallycross Championship appearance of the year in the top five.

"It's great having the opportunity to race at Lydden Hill, the place where rallycross was invented and a track that gets such huge and enthusiastic crowds," said Foust. "I always have an amazing experience here in the UK."

Driving a new Rockstar Energy Drink Volkswagen Polo, Foust was an early favorite for the...

Rockstar Energy Racing's Jason Anderson didn't have much time to revel in his championship winning Supercross season with such a short break before the Motocross Season's inaugural round of 2014. In fact, two days after Vegas SX, he had his wisdom teeth pulled on Monday and was back on the bike Tuesday. With such intense focus on the task at hand, the 250 West Coast Title will likely not sink in until the end of the outdoor season. However; he did come in Glen Helen carrying a lot of momentum.

Anderson is certainly very aggressive on the bike and to many spectators, the most fun to watch...

Desalle 2nd in British MXGP  /  May.26.2014

Team Suzuki Press Office – May 25.

Matterley Basin was again a stomping ground for Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MXGP and Clement Desalle this weekend as the Belgian threw his Factory RM-Z450 to second position overall – after a race two victory - in front of 25,000 spectators at the British Grand Prix and the eighth round of 17 in the FIM Motocross World Championship.

The Winchester venue had been liberally coated with rainfall in the build-up to the GP (shifted from its usual August slot to a Bank Holiday weekend date in late May) and was again hit by showers throughout Saturday to...

Seewer Top 10 in British MX2 GP  /  May.26.2014

Team Suzuki Press Office – May 25.

Jeremy Seewer picked up another decent points haul for Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe at Matterley Basin, surrounded by 25,000 spectators, for the British Grand Prix and the eighth stop on the FIM Motocross World Championship today.

The Belgian steered his RM-Z250 to 13th and ninth in the two MX2 motos under bright skies on England’s south coast across one of the best-received racing surfaces of the season.

Copious rainfall in the days leading-up to the action at Matterley and again Saturday morning and evening meant a soft and grippy course that...

Round six was at Loretta Lynn's, a place I've been going since I was 3 years old. I raced the Amateur Nationals there from '92 through '04. So I was really looking forward to going back to my old stomping grounds and getting a good result. KTM has been working hard on my bike to make it start better, and it really paid off with a top five start (finally!). But coming into the second corner, someone hit me from behind and spun me out, leaving me getting up dead last. I charged back to catch the pack and made some passes in the first few miles, some really fast trail sections with lots of...

Kevin Strijbos 3rd in Spain!  /  May.13.2014

Kevin Strijbos:

“It was a good day. I had a bad start in the first moto but I could push all the way and passed Tony and Bobby and I was happy with fourth. I had the holeshot in the second moto but ran a bit wide and came out second. The race was not so easy, very warm and I was tired out there. We are all doing our best and our work is paying off. I thought the track was good. It was old-school with the layout and nice to ride. I think they put a bit too much water in the morning and maybe it should have been lesser and more frequent. We made a small change on the bike before the second...

Clement Desalle:

“This weekend started out as difficult because when I woke up yesterday I had a really bad stomach problem, and I had never really felt that way at a race before. I struggled, especially in the qualification Heat. I had to slow down quite a lot. I had some medicine and tried to have a good night but it was not easy. I wanted to do the best I could today and I’m quite surprised! My feeling on the bike was much better; really good. It was so nice to get two moto wins like I did. It is good for the confidence and the championship. I was really happy about my riding and I...

Suwannee Pro : Final Results  /  May.12.2014

Suwannee Pro Stop #1 of The Wakeskate Tour presented by Rockstar Energy

Kicking off the third year of The Wakeskate Tour this past weekend, the Suwannee Pro was held at Nick Taylor's wakeskate dreamland in the forests of North Florida. This was the second year for the Suwannee Pro and went off above & beyond anything we could have expected. Being one of the largest setups featured on the tour, there was concern of whether or not riders would be ready to tackle the gaps immediately after winter break. All such concerns quickly dissipated when the level of riding proved to be more advanced &...

Team Suzuki Press Office – May 11.

Rockstar Energy Suzuki’s Clement Desalle was virtually perfect in both races on his dependable factory RM-Z450 to take his first double-victory of the season and his second overall triumph of 2014 at today’s seventh-round World MXGP Championship race at Talavera de la Reina in Spain.

The Belgian also rose to second place in the MXGP championship standings as a result and narrowed the difference in points to just 24 from leader Antonio Cairoli.

Around 16,000 fans witnessed the action in what had been a long, three-year wait to welcome MXGP back to...

Team Suzuki Press Office – May 11.

The Grand Prix of Spain brought the MX2 category of the FIM Motocross World Championship up to round seven of 18 and Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe’s Julien Lieber again caught attention on the works RM-Z250 to score his highest moto finish of the season so far with sixth place in the opening foray at a packed Talavera de la Reina circuit.

The Belgian started brightly and showed some decent speed and commitment on a rough and slick soil. The numerous hills of Talavera contained a twisting and technically-challenging course. For the MX2 riders in...
