Glenn Coldenhoff:

“It was good for sure today. We were close in Qatar but I had some problems with my rear brake. I know I am strong and I am fit so I should be there every week. I am happy with the team and the bike and confident on it always. I made some training this week in Thailand and I thought I was ready for the heat but I still got hammered! I spent a lot of energy in the first moto and I couldn’t give any more at the end of the second. Anyway the result is pretty good. I’m really looking forward to Brazil now.”

Clement Desalle:

“It was a really good race and nice to come back after not having such a good feeling in Qatar. I enjoyed riding here and you could see that with my result. It suited my style of riding. In the second moto I had some really good lines and was feeling confident. It was not easy in the hot weather and Cairoli passed me because of a problem; a similar thing to what many others were having. It was scary to do some of the jumps and it was strange because I didn't have the problem in the first moto and was really happy with my bike. I thought it was even hotter then so I don't...

The beast that is Daytona Supercross certainly lived up to it's reputation of being the toughest SX race in the world. The recent heavy rainfall in the "Sunshine State" made for some inconsistent soil coming in. Luckily the weather was perfect on race day, but that did not prevent the track from being very rutted and soft. It's not often that you see top riders in the world look so out of sorts so many times like last weekend. Nearly every rider in the field found themselves on the ground at least once, including the Rockstar Energy Racing Duo of Ivan Tedesco and Cole Thompson.

Ivan Tedesco...

Team Suzuki Press Office – March 9.

Glenn Coldenhoff continued his impressive start to life with the factory RM-Z250 by earning Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe’s first Grand Prix podium finish since 2010 under steamy Thai sunshine at Si Racha for the second round of 18 in the FIM Motocross World Championship.

The stars of the MX2 class had to deal with a fast – and later very bumpy and demanding - track for the two motos excitedly watched by 22,000 fans. It was in the heat and sunshine that the Dutchman excelled and forged some decent pace to collect second position overall.

The rolling...

Team Suzuki Press Office – March 9.

Suzuki roared back into contention for top spoils in the FIM Motocross World Championship as Clement Desalle took his Rockstar Energy-backed factory RM-Z450 to second position overall at a sweltering Si Racha for the Grand Prix of Thailand and the second round of 18 in the 2014 campaign.

More than 22,000 spectators suffered the same sunshine as the paddock but it was on the track where the temperatures had the most impact: One week after the nocturnal desert setting of Losail in Qatar opened the calendar, the teams and riders of the MXGP and MX2...

Team Suzuki Press Office – March 2.

Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MXGP’s Clement Desalle and Kevin Strijbos tentatively launched their seasons on the factory RM-Z450s with seventh and eighth positions in the opening rounds of the FIM MXGP Championship under the floodlights of Losail in Qatar on Saturday evening.

Rutty and bumpy in places and with plenty of air-time for the bikes Losail was formed from an inconsistent desert terrain in terms of traction and grip and demanding bumps. It meant the riders had to stay sharp and focussed through the two 30 minute and two-lap motos; the...

Team Suzuki Press Office – March 2.

Glenn Coldenhoff put the RM-Z250 back into the top three on his debut in yellow and black colours and across the many jumps of the spectacular and floodlight track of Losail in Qatar on Saturday.

The three-man Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe attack on the MX2 division of the FIM Motocross World Championship started in fine form as the factory-backed RM-Z250 runners relished getting back into action for the first Grand Prix of 18 this season.

A modest trackside attendance entered the gates, but this novel launch to the Grand Prix trail that will visit 15...

Indianapolis Supercross was a night and day difference from the track surface at the first two East Coast rounds. Every corner, jump face and landing was riddled with ruts the entire width of the tack. The two whoop sections were so destroyed and treacherous, it was a challenge for the riders to even keep their feet on the pegs without having them ripped off. It was certainly the polar opposite of the hard packed tracks in Arlington and Atlanta.

Ivan Tedesco had his worst night of the year since joining the team at Anaheim 1. After having a tough go in practice, which was not an uncommon...

The trip to the most attended race each year in the Georgia Dome proved to be an off night for the entire team. For the 2nd consecutive week the track was built with clay and increasingly slippery as the evening progressed. A slick and technical track is very difficult to pass on so bad starts equal less than stellar finishes and that is what the night equated out to. On a positive note however, both riders left Atlanta healthy putting a track that saw a plethora of crashes behind them.

Ivan Tedesco has been consistent in his heat races thus far in 2014. In fact he has been one spot out of...

Rockstar Energy Racing put the West Coast in the rear view mirror for the time being and began the long trek through to the East. The continuation of the 450 title chase and round 1 of the East Coast 250 Championship kicked off in the massive Dallas Cowboys Stadium. The team was starting the East swing without Davi Millsaps and Joey Savatgy who were both injured during the offseason. In their place Ivan Tedesco will keep riding the KTM 350 in the 450 class and Cole Thompson will be contesting the 250 class.

Unfortunately the track in AT&T Stadium left something to be desired with the...

Rockstar Energy Racing made the short trip south from Corona to the last west coast stop in San Diego, before the series heads east. They entered the race in a rare tie for first place in the 250 championship after some huge positives and some minor negatives. If it wasn't for the team's ability to constantly overcome, they wouldn't be in the title conversation. Saturday proved to have the ups and downs all mixed into one night and in the end, they left with the points lead. They continue to do what it takes to be a championship caliber program.

In the final race in Anaheim one week ago,...

Rockstar Energy Drink driver Tanner Foust is making the move to a new team and new car in 2014 for his rallycross campaign.

The three-time U.S. rallycross champion will race for Volkswagen in 2014, one of two drivers on the just-announced Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross (VARX) team.

"The level of preparation that Volkswagen Motorsport and Andretti Autosport bring to rallycross can't be overstated. Volkswagen conquered the World Rally Championship on their first attempt and joining them for rallycross is an amazing opportunity," said Foust.
