Rockstar Energy Suzuki on Mantova Podium / Mar.17.2014
Rockstar Energy Suzuki’s Clement Desalle and Kevin Strijbos both displayed good form at the Mantova Starcross International Motocross in Italy on Sunday with second and third overall aboard their Factory RM-Z450s.
The event in Mantova is normally a classic pre-season event, but with the early 2014 GP season start in Qatar and Thailand, the organiser opted for a later date in the loaded Motocross calendar.
Desalle was the fastest in Saturday's Superpole race - a crowd-pleasing race between the top qualifying riders. In the first race on Sunday the...

Glenn Coldenhoff Podium in Thailand / Mar.10.2014
“It was good for sure today. We were close in Qatar but I had some problems with my rear brake. I know I am strong and I am fit so I should be there every week. I am happy with the team and the bike and confident on it always. I made some training this week in Thailand and I thought I was ready for the heat but I still got hammered! I spent a lot of energy in the first moto and I couldn’t give any more at the end of the second. Anyway the result is pretty good. I’m really looking forward to Brazil now.”
Clement Desalle Podium in Thailand / Mar.10.2014
“It was a really good race and nice to come back after not having such a good feeling in Qatar. I enjoyed riding here and you could see that with my result. It suited my style of riding. In the second moto I had some really good lines and was feeling confident. It was not easy in the hot weather and Cairoli passed me because of a problem; a similar thing to what many others were having. It was scary to do some of the jumps and it was strange because I didn't have the problem in the first moto and was really happy with my bike. I thought it was even hotter then so I don't...

Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe on MX2 Podium / Mar.10.2014
Glenn Coldenhoff continued his impressive start to life with the factory RM-Z250 by earning Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe’s first Grand Prix podium finish since 2010 under steamy Thai sunshine at Si Racha for the second round of 18 in the FIM Motocross World Championship.
The stars of the MX2 class had to deal with a fast – and later very bumpy and demanding - track for the two motos excitedly watched by 22,000 fans. It was in the heat and sunshine that the Dutchman excelled and forged some decent pace to collect second position overall.
Clement Desalle Races to Thai MXGP Podium / Mar.10.2014
Suzuki roared back into contention for top spoils in the FIM Motocross World Championship as Clement Desalle took his Rockstar Energy-backed factory RM-Z450 to second position overall at a sweltering Si Racha for the Grand Prix of Thailand and the second round of 18 in the 2014 campaign.
More than 22,000 spectators suffered the same sunshine as the paddock but it was on the track where the temperatures had the most impact: One week after the nocturnal desert setting of Losail in Qatar opened the calendar, the teams and riders of the MXGP and MX2...
ROCKSTAR ENERGY SUZUKI KICKS-OFF MXGP SEASON / Mar.3.2014
Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MXGP’s Clement Desalle and Kevin Strijbos tentatively launched their seasons on the factory RM-Z450s with seventh and eighth positions in the opening rounds of the FIM MXGP Championship under the floodlights of Losail in Qatar on Saturday evening.
Rutty and bumpy in places and with plenty of air-time for the bikes Losail was formed from an inconsistent desert terrain in terms of traction and grip and demanding bumps. It meant the riders had to stay sharp and focussed through the two 30 minute and two-lap motos; the...
COLDENHOFF RACES TO A TOP-3 AT QATAR MX2 / Mar.3.2014
Glenn Coldenhoff put the RM-Z250 back into the top three on his debut in yellow and black colours and across the many jumps of the spectacular and floodlight track of Losail in Qatar on Saturday.
The three-man Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe attack on the MX2 division of the FIM Motocross World Championship started in fine form as the factory-backed RM-Z250 runners relished getting back into action for the first Grand Prix of 18 this season.
A modest trackside attendance entered the gates, but this novel launch to the Grand Prix trail that will visit 15...
